Home Five Compelling Reasons To Buy An Indoor Water Fountain 4:00 AM Indoor water fountains are becoming increasingly popular. There are many reasons why people choose to purchase these fountains. For some, they act like a decorative accessory, adding a unique touch of beauty to their indoor space. For other people, the sound of the water running through the fountain promotes relaxation, making their homes a retreat where they can escape from the stress of the outside world. Fountains of all sizes can provide countless benefits for homeowners. When you start shopping for a fountain, one of the first things that you will notice is that they come in nearly every style and price range that you can imagine. That means that you shouldn't have any trouble finding the perfect fountain for your space and your budget with just a little bit of searching. Here are some of the benefits that you can enjoy after you add an indoor fountain to your home: Five Compelling Reasons To Buy An Indoor Water Fountain A Serene Place To Relax If you are like most people, you probably are on the go from the time you go out of bed in the morning until the time you go to sleep at night. Stress levels are at an all-time high for the vast majority of people. Imagine how nice it would be to sit down next to your fountain after a stressful day and close your eyes, listening to the gentle sound of the water running through the fountain. Recent studies have proven what most people have known for a long time - that the sound of water promotes relaxation. If you want to create a more relaxing space, one of the easiest ways to do it is by adding an indoor water fountain to your home. A Stylish Home According to Soothing Walls, indoor water fountains usually feature beautiful designs that can enhance the look and feel of your home. From a decorating standpoint, few other accessories provide the same visual impact as a beautifully designed fountain. You can even find fountains that incorporate unique elements such as LED lights. These features can help your fountain stand out even more. To create a natural setting for the fountain, consider surrounding it with houseplants. Fewer Noisy Distractions It is hard to relax when you are surrounded by unwanted noises. From traffic going by on the street outside to dogs barking in the neighboring yards, you may be bombarded by noises from every direction. One of the best ways to combat this problem is by installing an indoor water fountain. The sound of the water can help block out noises, creating a much more peaceful setting. A Properly Humidified Home If dry air is a problem where you live, an indoor water fountain can help. Fountains act as natural humidifiers, adding moisture back into the surrounding air. This can not only benefit your skin, hair, and respiratory health but can also help keep your houseplants healthy. It’s one of the big reasons many add an indoor water feature to their homes. Pure, Clean Air Typically, when people hear someone mention air pollution, they picture giant smokestacks spewing contaminants into the air or cars leaving trails of exhaust as they drive down the road. In fact, however, the air inside your home may be even more contaminated than the air outdoors. Inadequate ventilation and contaminants in the air can lead to poor indoor air quality. Installing an indoor water fountain can help reduce this problem. As the water in the fountain moves, it releases negative ions. These ions can help trap and remove airborne contaminants. Conclusion Indoor water fountains provide numerous benefits. When you consider all of the ways that they can help you live a healthier, more peaceful life, you will most likely want to get one for your own home. Not only are they beautiful to look at but they are also a practical investment for your peace of mind and well-being. This article was submitted by site supporter and may contain affiliate links. Reflections Reflection: Asking For A Sign 8:00 AM God has already given the most earthshaking sign when the Word was made flesh. To ask for another is to already mock God. No other sign is necessary. It is now the time for faith. -Fr. Joel Jason Have you been in a desperate situation where you have to ask God for a sign? I have. I can't remember anymore what it was and what sign I asked for, but I did. It was hearing the stories of people asking God for a sign and receiving it that inspired me to do it. Or maybe the desperation for knowing the answer to my prayers ASAP. Is asking for a sign a lack of faith? Why do some people do it? Reflection: Asking For A Sign I asked God for a sign not because I want to test God but because I was impatient for the answer. Human as I am I want to see for myself the confirmation from Him. Late have I realized that asking God for sending me a sign was a sign of my lack of faith. If I believe with all my heart that He will answer my prayer, all I need is patiently wait for His answer to come to pass. If at the end of my prayer I say, "I claim this with faith in Jesus' name", why do I insist He shows me proof first? God answers prayers in three ways: yes, no, wait. God's timeline is different from ours. We may be waiting for years for him to answer our prayer, but that does not mean He's late. It does not mean that He's sadistic and takes delight in watching His children cry in desperation. He is an all-knowing God. He sees everything even the things that are yet to happen. So if He answers a prayer today He knows whether it will make you better or if it will worsen the situation. In the years that I prayed to God, I realized what He has prepared for me is much MUCH better than what I've been praying for. Always. Truly when you wait in the Lord, He does not disappoint. In fact He will blow your mind with how great His surprise is. It will happen so fast you'll be wondering why you were worried before, or why you even burdened yourself with misery when you know from the very start that with God nothing is impossible. Here's a sign that God can do anything: He can part the ocean to deliver His people from their enemies. He can slay a giant with just a stone and a sling. He can turn water into wine. He can make the childless bear children as many as the stars. Even when they're already past the childbearing stage. He can raise the dead to life. He has overcome the grave Himself. What other sign are you asking for? A white rose? A butterfly? A rainbow? Don't they pale in comparison to how great the things God has done in the past and how great He still is today? Hey, maybe you reading this post is a sign that you should stop asking for a sign and trust God instead? What do you think? Hey, did you find this post helpful or entertaining? Fashion & Style Simple Things To Do To Improve Your Life Right Now 6:00 AM You may have written down the things you need to leave in the past for a lighter life journey (like I did). But how about things you need to do and bring with you? Here's a list of some simple things to do to improve your life right now. Simple Things To Do To Improve Your Life Right Now Be grateful Bring gratitude with you. I've always been a believer of the power of gratitude. It makes you a blessing magnet. Gratitude fills your heart with joy and makes you ready to receive more. It is a product of abundance mentality and changes it your perspective on life. The more grateful you are, the more you attract the things you are grateful for. That's how the universe works. (Thanks to Bo Sanchez for this wonderful idea) Be teachable Bring your openness to learning and willingness to be taught. If you believe you know everything then you stop growing. Be humble enough to know that you need other people to teach you, that each person you meet has a lesson for you to learn, that you don't know everything. Because seriously, you don't. Be an eternal student. Learn from your mistakes, learn from other people's stories and examples, learn from the expert, learn from children, learn from animals, learn from the past. Use what you have learned in making better decisions, in improving your skills and thus increasing your career value, in avoiding detours by hanging out with the wrong people and being in the wrong situations, and in speeding up your way to a better life. Be more optimistic Bring your humor and optimism. Author Elbert Hubbard said it best, "Don't take life too seriously. You'll never get out of it alive." Cut yourself some slack. Don't be too hard on yourself (a lesson I needed to learn). Learn to laugh at yourself and your boo boos. Nobody's perfect anyway. Everyone has tripped and slipped---alone or in front of a crowd. I have. Everyone has had a fashion flop history (except maybe for some like Selena Gomez and Audrey Hepburn who can't go wrong with fashion). Everyone has a flaw. You may not be perfect but you are made exactly as God intended you to be. Always remember that things work out even when you think they don't. If your life is on a detour, it is God's redirection, and not His rejection Always look at the bright side. Never lose your sense of wonder. Be more trusting Bring your faith and trust. You may not see where your path takes you. You may be struggling for so long, trying so hard, working double and you are tired and discouraged because it seems nothing is happening. Your life feels like running on a treadmill. You're exhausted but you're still stuck. But you look around and everyone around you seems to be moving forward. Like in a marathon. I know that feeling so much. Have a little faith. Never compare your story with theirs. God has a different plan for you. "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him." (1 Corinthians 2:9) Things will not always go your way but it always works for the best. Trust the process. Trust God's plans no matter how difficult it may seem. Remember who you are Bring your value wherever you go. Remember who you are. Never shortchange yourself. You are worth more than gold. You're worth every drop of blood and sweat of God's only Son. You are the apple of God's eyes. "The Lord will rejoice over you with gladness, He will renew you in His love." (Zephaniah 3:17) Keep your standards high. Have non-negotiables. "Never apologize for having high standards. People who really want to be in your life will rise up to meet them." (Ziad K. Abdelnour) In short, don't allow other people to treat you like crap. It's not about arrogance. It's staying true to who you are. It's about self-respect and self-love. It's about knowing you are meant to live an abundant life. Are you ready to improve your life right now? It's not that complicated. As for me, I'll be bringing a pocketful of sunshine, a heart full of hope and gratitude, and an expectant mindset. I'll also be bringing my water-resistant elegant black Zaful satchel perfect for anywhere, and my red Roman numerals Quartz watch to remind me that every minute spent on earth is precious. Simple fashion for a look that never goes out of style. What are you doing and bringing to improve your life? How-To 7 Smart Tips for a Smoother Trip 4:00 PM Everybody wants a hassle-free vacation, but things don't always go our way. The most important thing to remember during a trip is to enjoy it. Follow these seven smart tips for a smoother trip next time. They will be a great help. 1. Research Where do you want to go? What kind of trip is it going to be?Research the destination to understand what to expect.Check the weather forecast before your visit.Identify activities to try and local delicacies to sample.Learn about the local culture and the characteristics of its people.Note what to observe and avoid while in the area.Look for safe inns or hotels with good ratings that fit your budget. 2. Make a list While planning the itinerary, have a list of the things you need to bring. List of Sites to Visit: Compose a comprehensive list of the destinations you wish to explore. For each site, include essential details such as opening hours, entry fees, and notable attractions. Directions and Accessibility: Research and document the best ways to reach each site, considering options such as public transportation, driving, or walking. Include estimated travel times and any specific landmarks to assist with navigation. Download an Offline Map: Ensure you have an offline map available on your smartphone or device. This will help you navigate without needing a data connection. Food and Activities List: Make a list of local cuisine or restaurant experiences you want to try. Research activities such as tours, events, or local experiences that interest you. Consider Dietary Needs: If you follow a vegan diet, identify vegan restaurants or eateries offering vegan options. Look for reviews or recommendations online to ensure your dining experiences align with your dietary preferences. Do you have people you want to buy souvenirs for? List them down. At the end of the day, list your expenses to monitor your cash. It doesn't sound sexy, but it's essential, especially if you're traveling on a budget. 3. Pack light When packing, common sense plays a significant role. Don't bring a month's worth of outfits for a 3-day trip. Don't bring a pair of boots if you're going to the beach (duh). Pack only the things you will need. As much as possible, don't bring valuable jewelry. Aside from clothes, my must-bring stuff includes: Food and water (or a water bottle, which you can refill inside the airport) First-aid kit and medicines for pain, allergy, and stomachache Earphones and chargers Toiletries Comfy travel pillow Jacket and a pair of socks (to keep you warm) A good book or a Kindle in case of downtime, like waiting for a delayed flight Like every Catholic school survivor graduate, my rosary beads I have a back problem, so carrying a heavy bag is a no-no. Some bags are already heavy before you put anything in them, which is a pain. My favorite fool-proof tip for a smoother trip is to bring a foldable, lightweight, waterproof rolling trolley luggage. I'm so happy to have found the Overnight Bags Aero Carry-On Rolling Trolley Luggage. Not only does it have different gorgeous designs, but it's also light and functional. It's lightweight and waterproof; you can bring it as your carry-on. For a smoother trip, it's a must-have for every traveler (especially those with back problems). 4. Be early Starting the travel time early is better as you get to see more places, prepare calmly, and have extra time when unforeseen delays happen. When traveling by plane, check in online to avoid queuing. Missing your plane or train means more hassle and sacrificing an activity. 5. Auto-responder Set your email's auto-responders while you're away. Someone might reach out to you, and you don't want them to worry or guess why you're not responding. It could be an important client. 6. Bring extra money As with any trip, expect the unexpected. Bringing extra cash is wiser than worrying about having enough until it's time to go home. Transfer a certain amount of money to an ATM card that you can bring. 7. Que sera sera It's nice to keep an itinerary and plan your trip carefully. But things happen that are beyond our control.Sometimes, the weather will not cooperate with your trip to the beach. Sometimes, there will be miscommunication between you and your guide. Sometimes, despite the planning, you'll still forget something important. Cut yourself some slack. Don't let a minor problem get in the way of fun. Let things be. Go with the flow. Que sera sera. Be a smart traveler. Have a smooth and fun trip! Note: I received carry-on luggage from Amazon through Uskoop free of charge.
